OUR TRAINING PROCESS

Inland Helicopters offers a unique one-on-one approach for flight training. This training environment allows us to tailor to each individual student’s personal needs and abilities.  Whether your interest as a private pilot or as a career as a commercial pilot, you can graduate from our school well prepared to embrace the pleasures and challenges of helicopter aviation.  We even have an on-site Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) to make you testing process easier.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Because of our one-on-one flight training,  it depends on you, the student, as to how long it will take to complete the training process.  It depends on what license you are wanting to complete, and the amount of time that you can dedicate to flying.  On average, it takes students about four to six months to complete their private license, and another six months to complete their commercial license.  In general, it takes a year and a half to complete the entire program.

To get a taste of flying a helicopter, come take a demo flight.  It includes 30 minutes of ground training before you take off for 30 minutes of hands-on flight time.
